Kim Mohr brings over 20 years of communications experience to her role as Account Director. Most recently, she was senior manager of PR for EHR vendor NextGen Healthcare. Kim started her career as a journalist, serving as an editor and team leader for the Orange County (Calif.) Register, where she oversaw a team of 19 and worked on the Pulitzer-nominated “Toxic Treats” series. After more than a decade in newspapers, Kim made the transition to marketing and public relations and quickly found success. Kim has directed impactful public relations efforts for a wide array of organizations across multiple industries including health tech, biotech, real estate and fitness, as well as the public sector. She has achieved media coverage for clients both locally and on a national scale, including the L.A. Times, New York Times, Becker’s and Modern Healthcare.
Kim drives impact for the companies she serves through orchestrated thought leadership campaigns that raise the profile of key executives and establish the organization as an authority in their space. Among Kim’s achievements are a successful national satellite media tour with a celebrity influencer that garnered dozens of broadcast news hits for NextGen Healthcare; a U.S. News & World Report webinar that drew a record audience for her organization; and an earned speaking spot at HIMSS.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication & journalism with an emphasis in public relations from California State University, Fresno.
When she isn’t working, Kim is an avid runner who is obsessed with her Peloton Tread. She also loves traveling with her husband and two boys, ages 12 and 10. Favorite spots include the beaches of Punta Mita and the slopes in Telluride.
