Tara Stultz oversees and directs Amendola’s content and media relations teams and works closely with CEO Jodi Amendola on new business development. She is a PR, marketing and content leader with more than 25 years of strategic healthcare and life sciences experience. She has worked with healthcare IT, medical device and pharmaceutical/biopharma companies; major health systems such as Cleveland Clinic and Stanford Health; medical societies; and other healthcare clients to execute successful and engaging integrated marketing programs. With deep expertise in a wide-ranging number of therapeutic areas, her writing acumen includes everything from highly clinical physician-bylined articles to compelling ad copy to messaging platforms.
Prior to working in the agency world, Tara served as the executive editorial director of the Healthcare Group at Advanstar Communications, where she led the editorial teams of several high-profile national healthcare media outlets such as Managed Healthcare Executive, Medical Economics, Formulary, Drug Topics, and others. Under Tara’s leadership, these titles consistently earned top readership rankings and won numerous national awards. She also led marketing/sales and CME conferences for Pharmaceutical Executive.
Advanstar and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association recognized Tara for her leadership with the prestigious Rising Star award. Her writing has earned the American Business Press top honor, the Neal Award, as well as dozens of other national and regional editorial awards. Tara started as a newspaper reporter and has served as a marketing professional for a physician’s practice. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Tara loves being in, near, or on the water; her spirit animal is the manatee. She is a strong supporter of animal rescues–and dotes on her family’s own rescues: Great Pyrenees Molly and Lucky and cat Peggy.
